(MD) No.376 of 2010.

To punish the Respondent herein for his wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court made in W.P(MD)No.376 of 2010 dated 06.01.2014.

Prayer in WP(MD). 376/ 2010 :

Writ of mandamus to call for the entire records connected with the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in O.Mu.No. 6148/A3/09 dated 26.11.2009 and quash the same and direct the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner as secondary grade teacher in the 5th respondent school with effect from 01.08.2009 with all consequential benefits. For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondent : Mr.D.Muruganantham Additional Government Pleader

O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 15.02.2016, in W.P. (MD) No.376 of 2010, had directed the respondent herein to approve the appointment of the petitioner with all monetary benefits. Since the said order had not been complied with by the respondent, the petitioner has filed Cont.P.(MD).No.1601 of 2015. On 15.02.2016, this Court has closed the said contempt petition, recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader that the order passed in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

writ petition has been complied with. But, the petitioner has come up with the present contempt petition stating that till now the monetary benefits are not paid by the contemnor/ respondent.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor, by producing the proceedings of the respondent/contemnor, dated 06.10.2016, and also the acknowledgment letter given by the petitioner, dated 19.12.2016, for the receipt of the amount due to her, has submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with and nothing survives in this contempt petition.

3. Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
