Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representations dated 25.03.15, 20.11.15 and 06.05.16 and pass orders re fixing the position of the petitioners seniority as No. 882-A on the basis of his earlier order dated 12.11.13 re fixing the petitioners seniority in the post of Junior Assistant and do the same for all further promotion and grant all service and monetary benefits within the time fixed by this Honble Court. For Petitioner : Mr.H.Arumugam For Respondents : Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, Special Government Pleader.

Heard Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

appearing for the respondents had produced a letter Reference No.20548/E2/2/2011, dated 24.08.2016 from the first respondent addressed to the petitioner stating that since the matter is under the purview of TNPSC and Government, necessary orders by then will be issued in due course.

3.In view of the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement that the Contempt Petition may be closed with liberty to pursue the matter before the appropriate authority. 4.Recording the aforesaid submission and endorsement made, this Contempt Petition is closed with such liberty to the petitioner to agitate the matter before the appropriate authority. Consequently, connected sub application is closed.
