O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to disburse the arrears of revised retirement gratuity amount of the petitioner with 12% compound interest accord with all other benefits.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he worked as an Executive Officer in the respondent's Department, for more than 35 years and on 30.06.1996, the petitioner was retired from service. At the time of retirement, he worked as the Executive Officer and after his retirement, gratuity of the petitioner was not settled. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation, dated 25.05.2017 to the first respondent. So far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2017 within https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.20767 of 2017 the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for considering the petitioner's representation.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
