ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner complaints of an UDR error in respect of the petition mentioned property. It is well settled that it is only the District Revenue Officer, who is the authority competent to correct UDR errors. No limitation has been prescribed. The petitioner is permitted to submit the petition before the jurisdictional District Revenue Officer. The jurisdictional District Revenue Officer shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks, after receipt of the application from the petitioner. The District Revenue Officer shall put all the interested persons on notice before passing final order. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 24.01.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Rmk 2/4
