Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the firs respondent.

2. The issue raised by the petitioner is in respect of the society registered under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration 1975. The petitioner's grievance is that he is not being allowed to participate in the election. This grievance cannot be redressed by invoking the writ jurisdiction. The petitioner has to necessarily move the jurisdictional civil Court for relief.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he filed O.S.No.319 of 2023 on the file of the Sub Court, Thenkasi. The petitioner can very well file an IA seeking the relief now sought for in this writ petition. If such an IA is filed, it shall be numbered immediately without any delay and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter.

4. With this liberty to the petitioner to move the trial Court and direction to the learned trial Judge for speedy disposal, this writ petition stands disposed of. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. No costs.
