Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to pay a sum of Rs.1,10,586/- being the difference amount of unavailed earned leave salary between the unavailed earned leave salary paid based on the pre-revised scale and the unavailed earned leave salary payable based on the revised scale and a sum of Rs.2,457/- being the salary arrears for four days to the petitioner and thus totalling a sum of Rs.1,13,043/- along with 18% interest.

ORDER

This contempt petition is filed to punish the contemnor for willfully disobeying and non complying with the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD).No.14971 of 2012, dated 28.01.2015.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the Earned Leave Salary alone has to be settled to the petitioner. Hence, he seeks time till 06.06.2019 to settle the amount, for which the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has no serious objection.

3. Recording the same, the Contempt Petition stands closed, granting time till 06.06.2019 to the respondent to comply with the order of this Court dated 28.01.2015.
