Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the fourth respondent dated 06.06.2025 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to restore the petitioner as Poojari of Arulmigu Pambalamman Thirukovil, Thulukkampatty Village, Manapparai Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District and render justice. This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned show cause notice dated 06.06.2025 issued by the fourth respondent, in which the petitioner was suspended.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the hereditary poosari of Arulmigu Pambalamman Thirukovil. He would further submit that during Kumbhabhisekam, 5 persons appointed by the fourth respondent collected donations through G-Pay to the tune of Rs.1,30,00,000/- and the petitioner is no way connected to the same. However, the impugned show cause notice was issued with three charges by suspending the petitioner. The petitioner has 2/5

also replied to the same on 19.06.2025 itself. Under these circumstances, this present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondent 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's reply will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

4. I have heard the submission made by both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. In the present case, the challenge is made only on the show cause notice dated 06.06.2025 and of course, the petitioner was suspended subsequently. Further, the petitioner has also replied to the same on 19.06.2025. Hence, the fourth respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after considering the documents, the oral submissions and evidence adduced by the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected 3/5
