PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent proceeding in Na.Ka.No.27/K2PS/Cumbum South Police Station/2023, dated 31.10.2023 and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission to their Okkaligar Kappu Mahajana Sangam to conduct Adal Padal programme on 6.11.2023 as a part of the Sri Bagavathy Amman Kovil Thiruvizha at Cumbum, Uthampalayam Taluk, Theni District.

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent proceeding in Na.Ka.No. 27/K2PS/Cumbum South Police Station/2023, dated 31.10.2023 and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission to their Okkaligar Kappu Mahajana Sangam to conduct Adal Padal programme on 6.11.2023 as a part of the Sri Bagavathy Amman Kovil Thiruvizha at Cumbum, Uthampalayam Taluk, Theni District.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that permission was already granted to the petitioner to conduct the said Adal Padal programme.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no further adjudication required in this matter. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
