ORDER

The petitioner has sought for quashment of the impugned FIR in Crime No.151 of 2022, registered for the offences under Sections 120 B, 467, 468, 419 and 420 of IPC.

2.At the out set, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the earlier quash petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.22455 of 2022 was dismissed as withdrawn on 27.02.2023.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, would submit that the petition was withdrawn as the respondent police had assured that they would file the final report and that the petitioner's name would be deleted. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, however, disputes the said submission.

5.This Court cannot at this stagezz determine as to why the earlier quash petition was withdrawn by the petitioner as there is nothing in the order to 2/4

support the statement of the petitioner.

6.Hence, considering the fact that the petitioner's earlier application was dismissed as withdrawn, this Court is not inclined to entertain this second quash petition. However, since the FIR is pending from 2022, the first respondent shall conclude the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
