... Respondent/Respondent Prayer: This contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971, punish the respondent for his willful deliberate disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court dated 06.11.2015 made in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.21324/2015.

Prayer in crl.o.p.No.21324 of 2015 Criminal original petition is filed under section 482 of cr.p.c praying to direct the first respondent to depute an effective officer to investigate the case in crime No.584 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent and to lay the final report before the court concerned within the stipulated time frame as fixed by concerned within the stipulated time frame as fixedby this Honourable court.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for punishing the respondent for having not obeyed the order of this Court made in Crl.O.P(MD)No.21324 of 2015 dated 06.11.2015. 2.It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that inadvertently without realising the fact that on 31.10.2015, the case was closed as mistake of fact, submissions have been made on 06.11.2015 and this Court directed the respondent to file final report and now, Referred Charge Sheet No.65/2016 has been served on the petitioner. 3.Even though Mr.Parthiban, Inspector of Police, has taken charge subsequently, the officer who has issued the referred charge sheet notice namely, Mr.Ulaganathan, is present before this Court and his presence is dispensed with.

petitioner to file protest petition and agitate her rights in accordance with law.
