The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this writ petition was filed challenging the tender notification of the year 2017 issued by the respondents for appointment of regular handling and transport contractor for movement of food grains and allied materials etc from Mundiyambakkam goods shed to PEG Villupuram (Poongunam/Kundalapuliyur) and vice-versa for a period of two years.

2.The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has participated in the above tender. However, he was not selected as a successful bidder. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court in the year 2017. Now, the period for which tender notification was issued itself is over and hence nothing survives in this writ petition.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed. 05.12.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
