.. Contemnors/ Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to punish the respondents herein for their deliberate and willful disobedience of the interim order of this Court, dated 29.04.2016 in W.M.P.(MD)No.7104 of 2016 in W.P(MD) No.8918 of 2016.

Prayer in WMP(MD). 7104/ 2016 :

To grant an order of Ad Interim Orders directing the 4th respondent District Educational Officer to provisionally approve forthwith the appointment of V.Sheeba Mary as BT Assistant (Tamil) in the Petitioners school w.e.f. the date of her appointment on 12.06.2014 with all attendant benefits, pending disposal of the WP.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 4th respondent District Educational Officer in A.Thi.Mu.No.1959/Aa3/16 dated 21.04.2016, quash the same and further Direct the 4th respondent District Educational Officer to approve forthwith the appointment of V.Sheeba Mary as BT Assistant (Tamil) in the petitioners school w.e.f. the date of her appointment on 12.06.2014 with all attendant benefits including the arrears of salary and allowance and pass such further or other suitable order/Orders as this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 29.04.2016, in W.M.P.(MD).No.7104 of 2016 in W.P.(MD)No.8918 of 2016 directed the fourth respondentDistrict Educational Officer to approve forthwith the appointment of V.Sheeba Mary as BT Assistant (Tamil) in the petitioner's school with effect from the date of her appointment on 12.06.2014 with all attendant benefits including the arrears of salary and allowance. Since the respondents herein have not complied with the same, the petitioner has come up with this contempt petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, by producing the proceedings of the fourth respondent herein in e.f.vz;.417/M3/2017 dated 27.07.2017, submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with and nothing survives in this contempt petition.

3.Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
