This petition has been filed to issue notice of contempt to the respondent for misleading the court by way of furnishing false reports to the court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.6822 of 2016, dated 26.04.2016 and punish the respondent in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that as per the direction of this court, after completing the investigation, the respondent police has filed a charge sheet before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul stating that further action was dropped in this case and the trial court has also issued notice to the petitioner to appear on 21.02.2017 for filing objection and same was also received by the petitioner.

3.Recording the above submission, this petition is dismissed.
