ORDER

The writ petition has been filed forbearing the respondents from erecting the electric pole and drawing the line across the petitioner's land in Survey Nos. 800/1-800/3, 815/1, 815/2, 815/3, 816/1, 816/2, 798, 817/1, 818/1, 818/2, 819/1, 819/2, 819/3 and 820/4 situated at Vadapatti Village, Sivakasi Taluk Virudhunagar District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would submit that no electric poles have been laid in the petitioner's land. He had also placed written instructions given by the Assistant Engineer, Distribution, Sengamalanachiarpuram in this regard. Hence, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
