ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application in Application Number ARN. 24-1012132903, MD2086919316324 dated 09.10.2024 to obtain a sponsored parent visa for Australia country and to issue the PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) and also to return the petitioner's original passport and other documents within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. The petitioner applied for police clearance certificate before the first respondent by application dated 09.10.2024 for the purpose of obtaining sponsored parent visa for Australia country to take care of her pregnant daughter. She appeared before the first respondent office for enquiry on 2/4

09.10.2024. Even after the enquiry, police clearance certificate is not issued sofar. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent on instructions submitted that the petitioner do not have any criminal antecedents and no criminal case is pending against the petitioner and she has a clear record.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to forthwith send a report to the first respondent with regard to the submission made on his behalf that there are no criminal antecedents pending against the petitioner and she has a clear record, and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to issue police clearance certificate within a period of two weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
