The petitioner states that his grandfather had two wives, namely, Palaniammal and Velammal. According to the petitioner, the sons of the second wife of his grandfather have unlawfully obtained Patta Nos.3126 and 459 exclusively in their names. After submitting representation dated 15.05.2025, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that an inquiry would be conducted and orders issued after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadhars.

3. In these circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to conduct an inquiry in relation to the petitioner's request for joint patta 2/4

and dispose of the same after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the joint pattadhars under Patta Nos.3126 and 459. Such order shall be issued within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
