ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct to respondents 1 and 2 to impose heavy punishment for perjury on the respondents 4 to 10. 2.To invoke perjury proceedings, the procedures are contemplated under law.

3.A Writ Petition is not entertainable to convict a person for committing a perjury, as it requires an adjudication and is in the nature of a trial proceeding.

4.In view of the above, the present Writ Petition is not entertainable. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
