PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records relating to the detention of the petitioner's husband namely Balamurugan alias Prabhu, S/o.Chelladurai age 46 years under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 25.09.2023 made in No.43/BCDFGISSSV/2023 passed by the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the person or body of the detenu now confined at District Jail, Perurani, Thoothukudi District before this Court and thereafter set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.] When the matter was called, Mr.S.Vignesh Shunmugam, learned counsel of M/s.Ajmal Associates [Law Firm] submitted that captioned 'Habeas Corpus Petition' ['HCP' for brevity] has become infructuous as the
impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked in the light of the proceedings of Advisory Board. Learned Counsel has produced before us the following proceedings:
