ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and the petitioner's family in the guise of enquiry.

2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by this petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.16 of 2023 on the file of All Women Police Station, Palani. Pending the investigation process, another complaint was given by the defacto complainant over which a case in crime No.500 of 2023 was registered, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even there is no progress in the earlier complaint, the present complaint came to be registered.

4. Since FIR was registered against the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent on summons. If any trouble 2/4

arises during the course of enquiry, the petitioner is at liberty to workout remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With this direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
