ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the fourth respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1780/A2/2017 dated
21.06.2017, quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct the elections to the 5th respondent Sangam under the Tamilnadu Farmer's Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules 2003.
2. The petitioner is a farmer and also a member of the fifth respondent Sangam. The grievance of the petitioner is that the management of the fifth respondent has not submitted its accounts properly and hence, has approached the fourth respondent District Registrar, to take action as against the Sangam. The request of the petitioner was rejected by an order made in this writ petition, dated 21.06.2017 and therefore this petitioner has filed this writ petition as against that order and also for a consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct election for the fifth respondent Sangam under the Tamil Nadu Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules, 2003.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has obtained certain particulars under the Right to Information Act and the fourth
respondent has informed to a member of the fifth respondent Sangam that the Sangam had submitted accounts only till the year 1997-1998 and that accounts were not properly maintained.
4. However, the fourth respondent has passed an order that the accounts have been properly maintained.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not produced any materials in support of her case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the basis of the vague answers which were given under the Right to Information Act.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 05.01.2024 NCC :
