Contemnor/Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to initiate appropriate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/respondent herein for his wilful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in complying with the order, dated 09.03.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.4113 of 2016 and punish the contemnor/respondent for having committed contempt of Court.

PRAYER: WP(MD)No.4113 of 2016: To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Commissioner, Madurai Corporation, Madurai, the respondent herein to settle the death benefits (terminal benefits) payable to petitioners deceased mother Deivanai and to Pay them the Family Pension with arrears within a stipulated time. 2.Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, this contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the above said order, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same before appropriate forum.
