O R D E R
This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus to call for the records relating to the letter dated 10.10.2012 and to quash the same and also seeking consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to pay retirement benefits with interest at the rate of 12% from the date of retirement i.e., on 30.09.2008.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr. Ajmal Khan, learned Additional Advocate General, brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner was permitted to retire from service on 30.09.2008, subject to the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings, and that, for want of such conclusion, the petitioner's terminal benefits have not been paid. It is further brought to the notice of this Court that the said disciplinary proceedings have been concluded and a final order has been passed by the third respondent in G.O.Ms.No.355, dated 2/4
06.11.2025, imposing punishment of recovery of a sum of Rs.27,786/- from the petitioner and a cut of Rs.500/- from the pension for a period of six months. He further submitted that, in the light of the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings, the petitioner would be entitled to all terminal benefits, subject to the punishment imposed in G.O.Ms.No.355, dated 06.11.2025.

In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of, and the first respondent is directed to take all necessary steps for the payment of terminal benefits and to submit necessary proposals to the second respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said proposal, the second respondent shall process the same and release all terminal benefits payable to the petitioner within a further period of four weeks. Insofar as the claim of the petitioner for interest on the delayed payment of terminal benefits is concerned, the same is left open to the petitioner to agitate independently. No costs.
