The petitioner has approached this Court for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.06.2017. By the said representation, the petitioner has sought permission from the respondents to draw water from river Manimutharu main channel.
2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the request of this petitioner was already rejected by the Assistant Executive Engineer on 09.11.2017 vide his proceedings, dated 09.11.2017. A copy of the proceedings has also been furnished to the petitioner's counsel.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings in the manner known to law.
