..Respondents/Respondents/ Contemnors PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 30.06.2016 and subsequent extended order dated 16.08.2016, passed in W.M.P.(MD). No.8960 of 2016 in W.P.(MD).No.11680 of 2016. Prayer in WMP(MD). 8960/ 2016 :

This Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to stay all further proceedings of the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 23.06.2016 till the disposal of the main WP. Prayer in WP(MD). 11680/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the files of the 2nd respondent pertaining to the Impugned order dated 23.06.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to discharge his duties as Panchayat Secretary in 2nd respondent Panchayat.

According to the petitioner, the interim order was granted on 30.06.2019. But the respondent has not complied with the order. Hence, this contempt petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Perusal of the impugned order, passed by this Court, dated 30.06.2016, shows that this Court has ordered notice returnable by four weeks and granted the interim order till such time. But, subsequently, the petitioner has not chosen to take steps for extension of interim order and sent a contempt notice to the respondent and filed this contempt petition before this Court. As on today, the petitioner has not placed any material before this Court for extension of interim order. Therefore, this Court finds no ground to entertain this petition. Hence, this contempt petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected sub application is closed.
