Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle retirement benefits of the petitioner including provident fund, gratuity, the commuted value of pension, leave salary and all other attendant benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum with in the time that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the order of this court made in W.P(MD)No.19563 of 2015, dated 30.11.2015. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that except interest on commutation, other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

benefits have been paid to the petitioner.

3.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pay interest on commutation, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the order copy. In the event of non-compliance, liberty to the petitioner to revive the contempt. No costs.
