Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Ceritiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining the Impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.31/CO/TCL/25 dated 28.08.2025 and quash the same and subsequently directing the respondents herein to allow the petitioner's village people to attend Immanuel Sekarar Gurupoojai yet to be held on 11.09.2025 at Paramakudi.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order of the third respondent, dated 28.08.2025 and to consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner's villagers to attend Immanuel Sekarar Gurupoojai scheduled to be held on 11.09.2025 at Paramakudi.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, by the impugned order dated 28.08.2025, the permission sought by the petitioner to participate in Immanuel Sekarar Gurupoojai was rejected by the third respondent.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that subsequent to the passing of the impugned order by the third respondent, a meeting was convened in the office of the District Collector, Virudhunagar, dated 03.09.2025, wherein a decision was taken to permit all 2/15
persons to participate in the Immanuel Sekarar Gurupoojai, subject to certain conditions and that in the said decision permitted routes were also mentioned. A copy of the said proceedings, containing the conditions and details of the permitted routes, has been placed before this Court.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner and his villagers undertake to strictly abide by all the conditions imposed in the said proceedings and also to refrain from travelling along the prohibited routes.
6. In view of the above undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in light of the proceedings issued by the District Collector, 12/15
Virudhunagar, dated 03.09.2025, permitting all persons to participate in the Immanuel Sekarar Gurupoojai, subject to the said conditions and their travelling through permitted routes, the impugned order is set aside as the petitioner is permitted to participate in the Gurupoojai. The petitioner and his villagers shall also comply with any further conditions that may be imposed by the respondents to maintain law and order.
7. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 10.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Indu Note: Issue order copy on 10.09.2025.
