PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records culminated in the impugned Charge Sheet No.SXT/P.227/R.153/OR105/2017 dated 06.11.2017 issued by the first respondent and quash the same as arbitrary, illegal and against the principles of natural justice.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Southern Railway submits that the petitioner is dead. He has also produced a copy of the death certificate of the petitioner before this Court, which discloses that the petitioner died on 23.07.2019.

3. Till date, steps have not been taken to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
