This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for his wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.22167 of 2015 dated 24.11.2015.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions from the respondent police, submits that petition enquiry was conducted and the complaint of the petitioner has been closed on 23.01.2016 itself. A copy of the closure report has been produced before this Court. The respondent/contemnor, viz., M.Kannan, Inspector of Police, is also present before this Court.

3.Recording the submission that the complaint has been closed, this Contempt Petition is closed.
