ORDER

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner notice to the respondents 7 and 8 is dispensed with.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to complete the enquiry in the proceedings in Na.Ka.3445/2024/A3(Oo) dated 13.09.2024 and consequently directing the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action against the 7th respondent under Section 205(1)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2024 and remainder dated 14.10.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and complete the enquiry proceedings which was initiated on 13.09.2024 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the respondents 7 and 8 within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
