PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned rejection order passed by vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.28/Kaa.Aa.Thi.Thaa.Va./2023, dated 31.10.2023 and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e.) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple at Eliyarpatti Village, Madurai 1/4

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned rejection order passed by vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.28/Kaa.Aa.Thi.Thaa.Va./2023, dated 31.10.2023 and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e.) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple at Eliyarpatti Village, Madurai District, which is to be held on 03.11.2023 from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm based on the petitioner's representation in person on 31.10.2023.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that permission was granted to the petitioner by the respondent Police. Accordingly, the said Adal Padal programme was also conducted on 03.11.2023.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no further adjudication required in this matter. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
