JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] When the writ appeal is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the appellant Corporation submits that the directions issued by the learned Single Judge have been complied with in view of the contempt petition filed by the writ petitioner.

2.It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the issue raised in this writ appeal is no longer res integra in view of the fact that in a similar matter, the Division Bench dismissed the appeal filed by the Corporation in W.A. (MD)No.1270 of 2020 dated 15.06.2024 and the Special Leave Petition filed by the Corporation against the order of the Division Bench were also dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3.In light of the above no further adjudication is required to be undertaken in this writ appeal. Accordingly, this writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [D.K.K., J.] & [R.V., J.] 22.03.2024 NCC :
