[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to waive off the interests in petitioner's mortgage loan A/c No.1891820000409 in the respondent bank by the proposal of One Time settlement in the light of considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2022, within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 05.12.2022 seeking for considering his proposal of One Time Settlement. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank.

4. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondent bank to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
