Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.1 and 2 to provide notional promotion to the petitioner as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Armed Reserve ) along with other consequential monetary benefits in light of the G.O(D) NO. 852 dated 02.08.2004 within the time period stipulated by this Honourable Court and pass such further or other orders.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the orders and directions, issued by this Court, dated 20.06.2014, in W.P.(MD) No.12609 of 2013, have been complied with by the respondents by passing an order, dated 08.12.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order before this Court.
2. In the light of the above, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is still having any grievance, it is open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law by way of separate proceedings. No costs.
