ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 and 6 to take action against the 5th respondent, pursuant to the proceedings of the third respondent dated 19.06.2017 and also the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2017.
2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.
3. Pending this writ petition, by order dated 19.12.2024, the second respondent was directed to file a status report and today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, a status report had been filed by the second respondent. Even though an attempt was made to register the complaint given by the petitioner, by order dated 09.01.2025, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai had returned the FIR holding that the complaint is not from the proper 2/4
authorised officer and the same had been intimated to the fourth respondent and now, the 4th respondent had preferred a complaint dated 20.01.2025 before the Dhideer Nagar police station, Madurai city and the same has been registered as Crime No. 16 of 2025. The status report further indicates that the investigation in the present case is pending.
4. In view of the status report, there shall be a direction to the Inspector of Police, Dhideer Nagar police station, Madurai City to conclude investigation within a period of three months from today and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
5. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
