The petitioner asserts that she has been residing in the land in survey No.38/2, which is classified in the revenue records as 'Natham' for the past 10 years. After applying for a house site patta in respect thereof, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that an inquiry would be conducted to ascertain whether land in survey No.38/2 is classified as 'Natham' or 'Vandi Padhai'. If the land is classified as 'Natham', he states that the petitioner's application would be considered and disposed of on merits.

3. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for a free house site patta 2/4
