PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the 1st respondent in his proceedings No.Ka.No.KO611/2017/SE.PO dated 10.11.2017 quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to allot the shop at Government Officers Complex, Melur Taluk, Madurai District under relevant Disabled Person's Rehabilitation Scheme without auction process.

ORDER
The petitioner is a disabled person and he has submitted an application seeking allotment of a shop for running KIOSK at Government Officers Complex, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. The first respondent, by impugned proceedings dated 10.11.2017, stated that the said campus is being maintained by the Public Works Department, Madurai and in case any necessity arises for running shops inside the campus, then, it would be allotted on public auction.
2. The public premises can be allotted only on auction. In the absence of any necessity for running KIOSK in the said campus, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
