ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.467 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 13.12.2022, during the time of temple festival, there was a wordy quarrel arose between the petitioners and the defacto complainant and that the petitioners have attacked the defacto complainant on the left chest and caused serious injuries. Hence, the compliant.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and their names have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioners have attacked the defacto complainant and caused injury on the left chest of the victim and the injured is still in hospital. He would further submit that the investigation of the case is pending and thereby, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and that the injured is still in hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
