Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to forbear the fifth respondent from conducting illegal business of local cable TV operation in the areas where the petitioner hold the license to operate the local cable TV network at T.Pallapatti, E.Kottaipatti, T.Perumalpatti, Vadakkathiyanpatti, E.Ammapatti, Elumalai, Subballapuram, Kamatchipuram, Aathidravidar Colony and Athankaraipatti, Madurai District and directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the fifth respondent for the illegal business of local cable TV operation by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2017. ORDER
This writ petition was filed by the petitioner, a Local Cable TV Operator of Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation, in the year 2017, for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to forbear the fifth respondent from conducting the local cable TV operation in the areas, where the petitioner is holding the license.
2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is having a Registration Certificate and he has been permitted to operate the local cable TV network at T.Pallapatti, E.Kottaipatti, T.Perumalpatti, Vadakkathiyanpatti, E.Ammapatti, Elumalai, Subballapuram, Kamatchipuram, Aathidravidar Colony and Athankaraipatti of Madurai District. He is having 150 connections. Despite the same, the official respondents are encouraging the fifth respondent for the illegal business. 3.Learned Standing Counsel for the Arasu Cable TV Corporation submitted that both the petitioner and the fifth respondent were issued 3/4

gk with license as Local Cable Operators of the Arasu Cable TV. The petitioner was granted license for T.Pallapatti, Athankaraipatti and the fifth respondent was granted license for Elumalai Village. She further submitted that both the petitioner and the fifth respondent have now migrated to private MSO networks.
4.Since it is reported by the Arasu Cable TV Corporation that both the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent have now migrated to private MSO networks, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index :
