ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii) IPC @ 1/3
Section 294(b), 324, 307, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.480 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that it is a case of civil dispute between the parties and the injured is still in hospital.
3. Since the injured has not been discharged from the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners at this stage.
