Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 3 to pay fair and reasonable compensation for the false implication and wrongful confinement of the petitioner's father in a criminal case in Crime No.155 of 2013 on the file of Thattaparai Police Station in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court . ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's father was implicated as A5 in Crime No.155 of 2013 registered on the file of Thattaparai Police Station. It was a double murder case. The petitioner's father was arrested and he was in custody for 60 days. Subsequently, it turned out that he was falsely implicated. 2/4

Similarly placed persons filed writ petitions before this Court. Vide order dated 10.07.2023 made in W.P.(MD)Nos.10217 of 2015 and batch, I had directed payment of compensation. Thadesh Kannan/ petitioner's father is no more. The petitioner seeks compensation. The petitioner has given representation before the first respondent. The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose it of in the light of the order dated 10.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.10217 of 2015 and batch. Such an order shall be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
