Prayer in WP(MD). 22378/ 2015 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to place the petitioner as Deputy Superintendent of Police by including his name in the panel for the year 2009-2010 by placing him above his junior Thiru.D.Arasu and fix seniority in the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police accordingly with all monitory and consequential benefits.

ORDER

This contempt Petition is to summon the respondent and deal with him as per law for willfully disobeying the direction of this Court made in W.P.(MD)No.22378 of 2015 dated 14.12.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit

that he has already handed over the papers to the client.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the request of the petitioner to include his name in the Deputy Superintendent of Police panel for the year 2009-2010 was rejected due to the pendency of enquiry and suspension of the petitioner. He has produced the order of the Director General of Police, Chennai-4, dated 13.04.2016.

4. In view of the above, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of the Director General of Police if he is so advised.
