Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the tender committee comprising of respondent Nos.2 to 4 to declare the petitioner as the successful bidder in pursuance of the Lorry Freight Tender Notification published in Dinathanthi Daily dated 08.11.2017 for the movement of essential commodities to the 218 fair price shops situated in Vilvancode Taluk for the period from 01.12.2017 to 30.11.2019 and consequently direct the 4th respondent to issue Contract Appointment Order in the petitioner's favour within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. It appears that even though the petitioner was successful in getting interim order, the third party was declared as successful tenderer. The Writ Petition pertains to the year 2017, now we are in August 2020. Nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
