Contemnor/Respondents Prayer: This contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents herein for their deliberate and willful disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court dated 11.06.2015 in WP(MD) No.9412/2015 amounting to Contempt of Court under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971.

Prayer in WP(MD). 9412/ 2015 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent herein to consider and pass orders forthwith on the petitioners proposal dated 14.05.2015 in terms of Section 19 of the Tamil Nadu Private colleges (Regulation) Act, and pass such further or other orders.

This contempt petition has been filed for punishing the respondent for having not obeyed the order of this Court made in WP(MD)No.9412/2015 dated 11.06.2015.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that the order made in WP(MD) No.9412/2015, dated 11.06.2015 , is complied with and in support of the said submission, he produced the copy of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.25246/J2/2015, dated 17.05.2016, before this Court.

3.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 17.05.2016, it is open to her to challenge the said order, if so desired.
