Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Office Assistant in the 3rd respondent office.

ORDER

This contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.20791 of 2015 dated 19.01.2016.

2. Heard Mr.V.Panneer Selvam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel for the respondent.

3. It is submitted that against the writ petition, W.P. (MD)No.20791 of 2015 dated 19.01.2016, a writ appeal has been preferred by the respondent in W.A.(MD)No.954 of 2016 and the same is pending.

4. In view of the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
