COMMON PRAYER: Contempt Petitions are filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to issue notice of contempt to the respondent for willful disobedience of the order dated 23.09.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.13944 of 2011 and 32 of 2012, as modified by the order of this Court in W.A.(MD) Nos.1221 and 1220 of 2015 respectively.

Prayer in WP.No.13944 of 2011 Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a unit of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the Petitioner's representations dated 23.11.2010 and 4.10.2011 insofor as it relates to Town survey No.2/2,H.C.O.0505.0 in Block 8, ward f.No.50 Oorathanam village, Trichirappalli corporation, village, Taluk and District and dispose it off within time frame to be fixed by this Court and pray Compensation for the said (and Acquisition to the petitioner and issue other orders.

WP.No.32 of 2012 Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating of the respondents 1 and 2 insofar as is it relates to own survey No 2/2, Hc 0.0505.0, in Block 8, ward F, No.50, Devathanam village, Trichirappalli, Corporation village Taluk and District as published in Government Notification in TamilNadu Government Gazatte Part II Section II dated.5.10.2011 at page 349 and quash the same.

COMMON ORDER ****** When the Contempt Petitions were taken up for hearing on 16.12.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matters on 21.12.2016 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even though the Contempt Petitions were listed today (23.12.2016) under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the Contempt Petitions are dismissed for non-prosecution.
