Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertain to impugned order, dated 29.12.2015 passed by the 2nd respondent in Pa.Mu.B5/15790/2013 and set aside the same and further direct the respondents to transfer the patta in favour of the petitioner and other legal heirs in accordance with law.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to quash the order of the 2nd respondent, dated 29.12.2015 and to direct the respondents to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and other legal heirs.

2. Since the patta has been changed under UDR scheme, the remedy available to the petitioner is only to approach the District Revenue Officer and not the Revenue Divisional Officer for cancellation of the patta. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his request before the District Revenue Officer for rectification of the UDR entries.
