.. Respondents Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for their wanton and willfull disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.M.P (MD)No.456 of 2016 in W.P(MD)No.3365 of 2014, dated 18.01.2016. Prayer in WMP(MD)No.456/2016 :

Pleased to grant an ad-interim Direction, directing the Respondents to send the Petitioner for training in the present batch for appointment to the post of Tamilnadu special Police Youth Brigade for the year 2013-14.

Prayer in WP(MD)No.3365/2014 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the Records relating to the impugned proceedings in Na.ka No.A4/51408/2013 dated 17.02.2014 of the 2nd respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the Respondent s to appoint the petitioner in Tamilnadu Special police for the year of 2013-2014.

ORDER

This Court, by the order dated 18.01.2016 issued an interim direction to the respondents therein to send the petitioner for training in the present batch for appointment to the post of Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade for the year 2013-14. 2.Contending that there is non-compliance of the order and the conduct exhibited by the respondents amounted to willfull disobedience to the order passed by the Court, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

3.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that as against the order passed in W.M.P(MD)No.456 of 2016 in W.P(MD)No.3365 of 2014, dated 18.01.2016, a writ appeal in W.A(MD)No.996 of 2016 has been filed and the matter has been stayed by the Division Bench of this Court.

4.In view of the same, this contempt petition is closed for the time being.
