Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give arrears of freedom fighter's pension to the Petitioner as a daughter of Freedom Fighter namely Muthu Servai and pass appropriate order within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

********** This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his willful and wanton disobedience and non-compliance of the order, dated 19.11.2014 made in W.P(MD).No.532 of 2013. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the request of the petitioner was rejected by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, by order, dated 24.03.2017.

3. Recording the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
