ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to issue non traceable certificate for the document dated 09.04.2012, bearing Document no.1279/2012, standing in the petitioner's name, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 15.02.2021. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that despite the directions, the petitioner has not produced the copy of the document, which was found missing and that the respondents may be directed to follow the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, dated 01.04.2022.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had already produced a copy of the sale deed and that even now, the petitioner is ready to produce the copy of the sale deed before the second respondent.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to produce a xerox copy of the sale deed, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such production of the copy of the sale deed, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a xerox copy of the sale deed.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
