Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the 2nd Respondent in his proceedings in Ref.:Ma.Ka.Tu:Op dated 19-09-2011 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the Respondents to sanction and pay Pension to the Petitioner for his services for 10 years and 2 months from 20-03-2000 in the 2nd Respondent Corporation every month from 31-10-2009 with all arrears and other consequential benefits. ORDER

Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel for the respondents/ contemnors submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has been fully complied with by making further payment of pension arrears on 01.08.2018 and 03.08.2018 through ECS to the Savings Bank account of the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the communication addressed by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Employees Pension Fund Trust, dated 03.08.2018, indicating such payment of Rs.2,20,773/-.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to verify the same.

3. Considering the above-stated facts and circumstances and considering the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents/contemnors and also going upon the said communication of the Pension Fund Trust dated 03.08.2018, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to reopen the contempt, in case the order of the Writ Court is not fully complied with. No costs.
